Front Porch Mornings - Vintage In KC

I don’t know about you, but I am really enjoying these cool mornings on my porch with a cup of coffee.

It is coming up on a year in November that we moved to our new/old home in DeSoto. It has been quite the year and I am still learning to slow down and enjoy the little things in life. I am getting all my fall items out this weekend and going to decorate that porch for our first fall in this home. I’ll share a picture when it is done!

Now on to business…. I have shared with some of you about my concern with renewing the contract here at Vintage In KC. This past year has been quite a journey and I was feeling some angst about signing a lengthy contract in the midst of a pandemic. However, after lots of prayers and reflection, I have decided to go for it. I love what I do and I love sharing my passion for beautiful things with others.

The one thing Covid allowed me to do was to slow down, reset and take better care of myself. I was running myself ragged with the schedule before Covid hit. With that being said… at this time I will not be resuming in person classes…at least through the rest of this year. That is subject to change as we move forward into the 2022. I am going to move forward with the new website and getting that up and ready for e-commerce. So….stay tuned!
